I can’t believe it’s Friday already!

Actually, I can’t believe it is August already! My last post was May? Really? Those bloggers who put out a post every week on a regular schedule are amazing! Where do the find the time? These people are both completing projects (or research or whatever it is they do) and then reporting out on their activities like clockwork. Honestly, I can’t even find that much to say about what I’m doing, although I am keeping busy.

Spring is coming?

It was 30º F at 6:30 AM, and raining. I guess I should be happy it isn’t snowing. The rain must mean warmer air aloft, and I certainly hope the temperature will be rising soon, but hey! I am really tired of cold and precipitation. It’s been too long since our trip to Florida, I guess. Two definite signs that spring must be coming: It was light out and I woke up naturally at 6:30 AM. I must be part bear or something; I always sleep more in the winter.

Housecleaning

An Expression of Joyous Anticipation

So everyone out there who hates housecleaning — is there anyone out there who does not hate housecleaning? In any case, for all those who do hate housecleaning, I am not saying that I like it. I don’t. What a phenomenal black hole of time and energy it is! You are never really done with it; there is always something that could be cleaner or neater, and even if there weren’t, it only takes 5 minutes for the clean to become dirty again.
